I have been to few hostels in the Philippines which have satisfied me as much as Harold’s Mansion has.
The experience is an inspiring one, allowing the common person to experience the greatness of nature in a different, memorable, and accessible way.
Clear, blue waters, white sand, and negligible waves make this beach a vacationist’s paradise. Here are my general, honest, and unbiased impressions on the famed beach.
One of the best snorkeling experiences of my life. I doubt I will ever snorkel elsewhere that will offer such color, diversity, and wonder.
It’s nothing to go exaggeratedly out-of-your-way for, but when you get there you’re sure to love it, which is what’s strange about it.
It’s a very young, newly-developing surf spot, relatively 4-5 years old, and is still very clean, quiet, and un-touristy–which is exactly what’s loveable about it.
Baguio as a whole is not very cheap, at least not compared to other provincial cities, but it is charming and thus can easily seduce you into spending wantonly.
